Its not a bad game, not as good as H&D2 imo

Never liked H&D. Call of Duty is great fun though, its the first time Ive played fps where it feels like your part of an actual battle so many allies and enemies scrapping it on on several missions. Only problem I have with it is there is so much going on that the constant gun fire/artillery/flak etc gave me a banging headache.

The game is very short tho :( but pegasus bridge and the scene from enemy at the gates are excellent to play ,when i stepped off the boat and the gits gave me a clip of ammo and told me to go fight the germans ,i was thinking yeah right ;)

Yeh I did the 1st half of the Russian stuff last night. Perfect copy of the opening scenes of Enemy at the gates, as Cam said. Even better than the MOH: Allied Assault d-day landings. A clip of ammo and a lot of running.

I thought they could have done some Dunkirk missions or something like that, and changed the SAS missions to a German Campagin. But aye, some classic moments. Best missions ever are the Russian ones, worst ever is the SAS dam mission, but the truck ride makes up for it :)

well you could do the invasion of france but that would be a very short game :)


if you did russia you would have to shoot some peasants and burn their villages..then retreat slowly back acroos russia and back to Berlin

then to end you could escape to the americans to avoid surrendering to the russians

There are many kinds of missions that could be done if you really put your mind to it.The mission to enter italy while it was occupied by the americans to get mussilini into germany springs to mind ;) or a daring mission into britian to assasinate churchill but u kill the actor instead ala the eagle has landed hehe.

The game is WAY too short, it has about 4.5 hours play time and then you have finished it. It needs to be about 5x longer at least. It is also VERY easy, even on hard difficulty, there is LOADS of health all over and even though you are getting shot at from all angles, 90% actually miss.

The first 3 missions (2 of which are the demos) you think "omg omg this is the best game ever" then after this most of it is just a MOH clone 1 man DM'ing in a WWII setting. The gfx probably arnt actually as good as MOH either, but the game generally plays better and the settings/maps are nicer.

Its worth playing, but if you buy it, be warned you will finish it within a few hours.

It is possibly the shortest game I have ever played, even shorter than Max Payne 2 ffs.

I thought the games playibilty over the 1st missions continues throughtout the game, with the exception of the naff Behind enemy lines SAS style missions.
