So, who's going to win it this year then.

Its certainly been more exciting and is closer than its been for many a year (Schumacher aint won it yet :P)

Schumacher was been on pole every year since 1998 and has won it 5 times, so it seems to favour him at the moment, but I would be happy to see kimi win and spice up the F1 scene

Well Schumi aint on pole this time ;) Its going to be a good race tomorrow with the grid like it is.

And changable weather conditions have been predicted for the race.

Luckily for Schumi, Barrichello has put himself on pole :)

It it wasn't for those adverts breaks things could really have been interesting with Kimmi on the 1st 2 rows and Schumi so far behind.

Basically Schumi needs to crash out for Kimmi to stand a chance. I'd say Barrichello has a big role to play but as we all know he is the unluckiest driver in the world so his engine will no doubt blow up at some stage.

I'm surprised Schu hasn't b!tched that they had to change the rules to give the others a sporting chance ;) but i guess he's far to professional for that

I would have done :naughty:

Yeah, rubens will have a certainly have a role to play in this final GP. It won't surprise me if something drastic happened, and if it were to, it would add to what is going to be a great race. Just hope kimi does'nt crash out on the first corner :stare:

I think more folk would be challenging Schumi if they weren't all a bunch of spoiled rich boys getting the chance to race :)

Said it before but if you are talking about real talent, its likely to be spread pretty thinly accross the globe. Its unlikely if you are talking real talent you'd have so many father and son racers, brothers and family members etc.

Its all about toff's being given the opperchancity.

I agree with you Nor.

We have a lot of untapped talent in this country, but they never get the chance to show what they can do.

Motorsport has always been this way though. Mansell was probably the last one who broke the mould, but he let his ego spoil things in the end.

They say Formula Palmer Audi is a good formula to race in, not only because of the low budget needed, but also because the cars race on an even keel.

I enquired into it, and was told a I would need a budget of between £100000 - £150000 per season. It's probably more than that now :(

Out of reach!

I think you guys missed the part about economic situations where its not really viable for most teams to pay talented people shed loads, they have to get the joe average driver who can bring in much needed money to finance the team. :)

Who won then? :dozey:

I was just thinking the same thing when I opened the thread....

*Blood God loads up the BBC Sport page

Schumacher... even tho he finished 8th, Barichello winning the race seems to have had the effect that Schumacher would desire

I took a little joy in the fact that Barrichello was on the podium and Schumacher, while winning the championship wasn't.

Childish I know, but Schumacher really boils my p*ss.

If the incident with him locking his break and drastically changing his line causing his brother to run up the back of him had been anyone else, I'm sure there would have been a drive-through penalty *grumble grumble*

when chris amon and jackie stewart both drove march 701`s in 1970, stewart said the car was a trouch too heavy. amon said the bloody car was useless, just a heap of sh**!

I dunno, I quite like Micheal.. he always seems genuinely happy when he wins, dosen't (that I've seen) have hissy fits when he loses.. and really is a good driver.

IMO he deserves the wins, though this season was far better with there actually being some competition for him.
