View Full Version : PSU question?
i was trying to tidy the cables in my computer the other day, i just did a "that will do, now lets play" when i built it in sept, and noticed that PSU has a couple cables from it that are yellow and black. Its a Globalwin Super Silent 22dBA 420W.
Now i dont think there SATA as there are u spliced plugs in another 2 cables.
any ideas?? :dozey:

if so then that's for a p4 board, to supply a stable 12v line or something iirc

I have the rev 1.04 of that board
it's mainly for p4's
you don't need to worry about it for an AMD if it's the same connector I'm thinking of

Most AMD boards with that connector don't actually require you to use the ATX12V plug. It helps though if you're into overclocking...
