Looking at getting a pair of these some times, will go well with me new Converse trainers. Any idea how much i'm looking at paying, and does anywhere know any dirt cheap places to buy them?

online shopping for clothes is always a gamble, a lot of the time its cheaper than shops, because they don't have a shop front to run...

best thing to do is pop into a local stockists, try a pair on, make sure it fits and then purchase it online

as for levi anti fits, they do fit funny and only suit 'certain' people, so hence my advice on going to try them on in a shop and see how they feel. Personally they don't suit me but they may suit you :)

Which was sort of the joke I was trying to make a few posts back but it was taken seriously...on the subject of which, where on my body IS my "anti"?

That's not the joke you succeeded in making. I spotted it and decided to take mercy on it and bring it more to the level of the average fitness forum reader.

You can always order a number of pairs (different sizes) then send back the ones that don't fit you - provided you don't mind paying for the P+P of course...

hence why its worth getting it right in the first place! Also it takes a while for companies to actually issue you a refund and then for the bank to refund you the money...

No offence to anyone. Lots of irony to everyone feeling receptive.

Who? Is this some kind of telethon for disadvantaged swords that I haven't heard of?

if you buy em off the internet and they dont fit cant you just send em back?

blurr
22-Oct-2004, 00:24
Yes but it costs p&p to send back, and some companies demand you do it via special delivery 1) because its fast 2) its more secure and 3) it costs you more! which can cost about £3-£5 or even more depending on weight. Also its hassle as well.

Hmmm are these jeans designed to not fit? Myself I get any jeans to anti fit me by jus getting a size bigger (so they hang off the hips). Are these jeans what all the students are wearing nowadays? or they still wearing twisted jeans? (jus messin)

anti fit is cut differently so yeah they do fit differently. as for twisted... well they're just twisted

So i'm a 34 long normally. But the 34 is a little big as i'm between 32 and 34 (as in i wear a belt with them).
So what size do i get the jeans in?
Dont want them to look stupidly baggy.

best to go in a shop and try them on mate, then get them online :)

I really don't understand why they called these "501's" as the 501 is a design classic that specifically emphases the male legs, arse, and crotch whilst being flexible practical workwear. As opposed to sacks that are as erotic as a dead hamster and fall down as soon as you think about doing any work...

Fortunetly, they still make proper 501's as well for their customers over 20. So you have two completely different jeans with the same model number. Go Levis!
