You know which I meant. :) You realise there are perfectly good jeans for sale in Primark for £8...and if you're not even going to bother washing them I'd say they are ideal for it.
The change in my pocket is probably worth more than my clothes.
primark jeans aren't very good quality imho, also their sizing are too big for me.
best thing to come out of primark is underwear :) if you want good quality cheap jeans, go to marks and spencers, £30-£35 a pair and are top notch.
and anyway I won't be able to wear em for work :P
prfft, what im wearing atm cost about £60 tops
Today..
Peter Werth jeans £65
Ralph Lauren t-shirt £40
Next coat £70
lacost trainers £50
Accessories:
Ted Baker belt(my only belt!) £20
Total: £245
oooh yeah forgot about the belt! :D

Animal technical coat - £190
Animal hoody - £55
Oakley industrial denim - £55
Oakley belt - £45
Animal watch - £80
Ripcurl wallet - £20 ish
Oakley sunglasses - £135
Animal socks - er
Total - £580
heh you have a just add water, 1080 or a freespirit near you then splat? ;)
I have a freespirit in bluewater but I rarely use it, not heard of the other two :o
Tomorrow it will be billabong and quiksilver :D
so do you surf then? :P or do u just talk the walk but don't walk the walk ;)
I use to work at Freespirit in Norwich, so I'm 'oakley' trained.

The change in my pocket is probably worth more than my clothes.
 same for me...not too bothered about what my clothes are like.
Well Oakley and Animal sponsor alot of mountain biking events and do a fair few rider specific clothing (fo it's not lycra!)
As for billabong, ripcurl and quiksilver, well they just look good :D
Other brands include howies, raceface, shift, sombrio and troy lee design but most of those tend to be just out riding wear as it were.
ahh I didn't know oakley and animal branched out in biking, especially animal as I thought they were solely surf brand, well thats news to me :D
and isn't it quiksilver? :P
Jeans: £15
T-Shirt: £10
Belt: £8
so... at most I wear about £35 worth of clothes a day (not including my shoes), should buy a jacket but cant find one I like for less than £100 so screw that.
If it came to the price of things I carry with me most days then it gets silly.
and isn't it quiksilver? :P
hush you!
*goes to edit*
Their main focus is still surfing but they sponsor about 6 riders and teams off the top of my head, have a stand at the bike show every year to open the local branch they had one of the country's top trials riders at the store hoping around obstacles.

im with groovy, those prices above are just plain silly.
I think my T-Shirt (Burtons) was £12
My Belt came with another pair of trousers I have
My trousers were £28 (Mountain Warehouse)
My socks were 2 for £3
My boxers were 4 for £7
My trainers were £50.
mmm all jeans are the same... well most of them anyone.. you do pay for the label..
well I pay for the label anyway.. at least I dont pretend the quality is better :)
Anyway.. I'd tell you what im wearing right now but cant be sure if you want UK or US prices :D hur hur.
Its not just the label, its the quality of denim, evisu are japanese denim and the people who supply them are edwin which do make very good quality denim, they don't shrink in the wash too much only by 3%, the cut and shape are very good, the indigo dye won't fade in the wash unless washed at a high temperature.
Also some of the rivets and buttons, some are just pushed through, others are stamped all the way through, cheaper ones tend to be just pushed through and don't go all the way through. The labour as well, some jeans are actually worked on by workers (not slaves) so there is a 'hand made' element to the jeans ie using sand paper to cause those 'streaks' you get on denim OR in some cases ie jeans which cost in excess of £175 which are brands like Paper Denim Cloth or Ernest Sewn (they probably mean nothing to a lot of you out there), the stitching is done by hand, and you can tell as its not straight, ie with the double stitching round the pockets etc. Going back to the labourers the jeans are also made in a place where workers are given reasonable wages and are in decent working conditions.
Levi's for example, the ones which are really expensive, non-mainstream ones, are actually based on old workmens jeans from the say early 1900's of which are in museums round the world. Levi's adopt this design and look for their vintage collection.
You can tell the difference between a pair of £30 jeans from h&m or a cheaper pair from primark from say a pair of Nudie jeans which are around £90-£120 especially with the denim and the way they come out after their first wash. Yes I may spend a lot of money on jeans, but I am wearing them virtually 24/7 as mentioned in the other post :) I don't have like hundreds of jeans!

The other day was
£35 shirt from Topman
£40 Blagger boot cut jeans from Topman which i think are very cool.
£10 belt from Topman
Some cheap shoes i've never heard of bought in Greenock!
Cheap M&S underwear, same with socks.
Accessories a £30 Sekonda watch from Argos, hopefully replaced with a Tag Heur watch for me 21st ;)
Probably about £40 for Jeans.
Doubt anything else i'm wearing is worth anything, T-shirt is about 7 years old and no idea where I got this top from. Nicked this belt from my dad about a year ago ;) Socks were probably 5 pairs for £2 that my mum bought me one christmas.
edit - come to think of it my shoes were £70 but i'm not wearing those atm :P
edit 2 - come to think of it coat was £120 but again not wearing that and i don't like the sodding thing after buying it.
Wow. Even if I wore all my jackets at once blurr'd still be worth more than me.
I'm such a failure.
Most I could be worth (based on actual prices paid) is:
Silver chain - £160
Fiends tee - £25
Staple hoody - £55
North Face Mountain Light Parka - £220
Carhartt jeans - £45
Addict camo wallet - £20
Air Max 1, Book of Ones edition - £90
Total - £615, I think.
I'm probably wearing about £250 worth of stuff tops. Jeans, t-shirt, light jacket and trainers plus the usual pants and socks, plus belt.
Gloves, Wolly hats and Scarfs make me laugh.
