Oakley overtops. Wubbly things. Are they made anymore?

Yep, well they are still listed on the site. Although the site where I usually get my Oakley gear doesn't appear to have them - http://www.geared-up.co.uk/acatalog/index.html

Their new range of sunglasses, the Oakley Thumps have mp3 players built into them with either 128Mb or 256Mb of storage. Quite tempted to get a pair but can't really justify them atm.

Think my next purchase will be the Mag Ms, best riding glasses around.

Oakleys are unfashionable, my Mum wears them and she's nearly 50.

if you wear them for 'sports' thats fair enough and you can pull it off as its cool... walking around town or inside shops with them on your head or on... is just sad to be honest.

Question: Unless, you're Brent Rivienne, why would you wear them anywhere other than outside when it's sunny?

Dont think you would...

Yes sys - that was my immediate thought...BUT and my housemate, Chris (an Oakleys whore himself), pointed this one out: when would you wear them and in what situations? Clearly while out having a ride, but other than that, when? Not on the train, not in the rain, not indoors...kind of limits their practicality. As Chris pointed out, they'd be much better if they were sold as a detachable extra which you could attach to any set of existing oakleys rather than forming part of the frame of a whole new range.

Out clubbing? :) When I saw Parliament Funkadelic in Stockholm a few months back, Billy Bass had them. Looked awesome.

"awesome" in a "doesn't Brent Rivienne look awesome in his avatar" way or something else?

Took me a while to pick a pair of Oakleys that looked decent on me, but I decided on these..

Oakley Half Jackets, I paid £88 for mine.
They look ok, as they're quite tight on my face .. not too bulky...

I wub my Oakley's - as I don't like flying, my dad promised me that if I went with them to America he would buy me some, and true to his word he did, respect. \o/
