Right well.... sorry for the delay, but here are the (drastically shortened) match reports:

Heath Herring vs Hirotaka Yokoi

[spoiler:24a71b38c8]Herring wins with a decent right hand shot to the side of the head, knocking out Yokoi at 2 minutes of the first round[/spoiler:24a71b38c8]

Ricardo Arona vs Sergei Ignatev

[spoiler:24a71b38c8]Ignatev taps from a rear naked choke at 8 minutes of the first round[/spoiler:24a71b38c8]

James Thompson vs Emelianenko Alexandre

[spoiler:24a71b38c8]What a shit fight. Thompson floored within 20 seconds of the fight starting. Ugly, ugly, ugly slugfest. The stare down was funny though. Thompson staring a hole, whilst Alexandre stood looking at his feet.[/spoiler:24a71b38c8]

Hiromitsu Kanehara vs Alistair Overeem

[spoiler:24a71b38c8]Stopped due to a nasty cut to the eye of Kanehara at 9 minutes of the second round. Not as disappointing as it sounds.... Overeem dominated.[/spoiler:24a71b38c8]

Dan Bobish vs Mark Hunt

[spoiler:24a71b38c8]Being the cynic that I am, I think Bobish took a dive. Bobish dominated for the 7 minutes that this lasted, and then took a glancing blow, and feigned an inability to stand. Not impressed. Hunt wins[/spoiler:24a71b38c8]

Kazuhiro Nakamura vs Dan Henderson

[spoiler:24a71b38c8]Nakamura dislocated his shoulder just after 1 minute of the first round and so the fight was stopped.[/spoiler:24a71b38c8]

Josh Barnett vs Cro Cop

[spoiler:24a71b38c8]Another dislocated shoulder. This time for Barnett again at 1 minute of the first round.... You saw the shoulder come out though.... and thats saying something for a man with the size of Barnetts shoulders. Cro Cop jumped on the mic immediately after the loss and stated that he would grant a rematch whenever Barnett wanted one.[/spoiler:24a71b38c8]

Quinton Jackson vs Wanderlei Silva

[spoiler:24a71b38c8]Jackson dominated for the majority of this match, but his lesser conditioning came into play as fatigue set in. Silva scored the knockout at 8 minutes of the second round, knocking Jackson through the ropes.[/spoiler:24a71b38c8]

A very disappointing set of results and fights. As Ive said before, Pride may not be my favourite MMA promotion, but I usually enjoy watching it. This was disappointing pretty much from start to finish, when the card promised so much.

Oh and no matter how many times I hear her, I just CANNOT get used to that f**king English announcer. Does she have to sound like such a spanner?

Good god, i have seen about 5 Hunt matches now. The bloke has no skill whatsoever. For him to win it must have been a terrible match. Shame the Cro Cop match was so short, that bloke was truely awesome in K1, although i don't know what his grappling skills are like.

Good :) Obviously his striking skills are his bread and butter, but he knows how to defend himself against a wrestler/jiu-jitsu guy.

Hunt was actually reasonably impressive in this match. That is, as impressive as a striker against a f**king huge wrestler can be :)
