I think the time has come for us to kick things off :) The following players are on our teamlist for entry into the BWCTFL:

13 of us isn't a bad showing at all! I think we should get things moving by trying to get everyone in irc next Sunday evening (23rd) at 8pm to get voice comms, q3, punkbuster, maps, etc working so we're ready to play. Our channel is #hbms where you'll be greeted by my right-hand man and lurker-in-chief Nitro :) Make sure you've got a working headset (speakers fuck things up) by then please as voicecomms are fundamental to our game plan - namely all shout at Kirky.
"WELL FUCKING KILL HIM THEN!" will mean something to anyone that was playing in the last minute against 3XS a few seasons ago :) Chaos, and great fun.
I propose we get everyone sorted then attempt to play some maps in midweek against another clan. It's good crack so we should try and get friendlies on Sunday and one other weekday evening. The more of you that idle in irc the better as this gives more scope for ad hoc matches too. With any luck we'll get in the league and be playing that on monday nights. The more active we are the better chance we have of getting in.
A mate of mine hosts a TS2 server which I've just tested out and it works perfectly. You can get the teamspeak2 client from
http://www.teamspeak.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index and we'll sort the rest out in irc come Sunday week.

I think a Traducer did used to play for AL some time ago Whippy but we seem to have some sort of wannabee l33t version called 'traduc3r'

Rofl! Found another! Ello Elvira! I played under "MeTaLLiX" before we changed to "Clan Kogatana" (was that the name?) - if you remember me or not. I remember you had a brother that played for *AL* too, the name escapes me atm.
The last guy I remember was "Sandman" - afaik I haven't seen any Sandman on a server since *AL* kinda disappeared.
Still playing Q3? Or have you escaped into real-life? :P

Hi, not played Q3 for ages u remember Tichinde my hubby he also played in AL helped me run it :).I remember sandman he was a cool player I play star wars galaxies now cool game too :).

OK I've decided to sack off tonight's session and leave it until we have our first proper game - probably next Sunday evening.
Therefore it's EVERYONE's responsibilty to have all the maps I linked above, the tag sorted, a microphone and TS2 working and generally have a working copy of Q3 by then.
I'm so damn busy atm I've not got enough time to make sure we'll be ready to roll next Sunday so don't let me down :)

Yup. I was in *AL* and co-ran Kogatana with Elv and Nataku ( he was called Insomniac before that) Although no-one actually knew I was in AL =) I did all the artwork for the KO site.
