View Full Version : Winter Coats
Sitting here in my office freezing after just walking across site to poke a computer my mind is drifting towards the concept of big warm winter coats.
A google around shows this one I like the look of http://www.dunderdonusa.com/j35brcanvas.html - figure a swedish company knows about winters and I like the look of it but finding anywhere in the UK that stocks their stuff is hard - anyone seen any Dunderton stuff around in the South East anywhere?
and please don't tell me its a lame/chav/mainstream label or anything :)
Can't help you but that looks pretty sweet, good luck finding it.

I've never noticed Dunderdon in the Urban Outfitters in Glasgow, which I regularly shop at.
Mind you, I've never looked.
If you want, i'll check it on saturday, see if they have a price?
nej, tis cool ta - got in contact with their uk bloke eventually who told me where I could get their stuff - urban outfitters in london & glasgow - too much of a hassle for me to get down there tho so ordered from germany online. would have bought them direct from dunderton uk bloke but he took ages to reply and i'd already placed the order at frontlineshop.com, offered to courier to me for an upfront cheque which was nice tho :)

am in the market for a reasonably priced goretex outdoors (i.e. expedition) coat, if anyone knows of where I could secure such an item. Will have to be Mark-F size, i.e. one bigger than a marquee.
its all about layers!
try http://www.gear-zone.co.uk/

as blurr said, for warmth, layers layers and more layers! (although only wear a t-shirt over a sweatshirt if you are under 10...)
also, concentrate on your core, not your extremeties - ie. keeping your chest warm will keep your fingers warmer than contrating on your fingers and loosing core temperature...
Flossie,
who froze to death on motorbikes for many years, so plenty of experience at attempting to keep warm....
Interstate, 17 Endell Street, Covent Garden, London
How wierd - that is across the road from where I was working today, how wierd...! Not much help though, as not back in that studio until mid-jan
