Selling my leccy guitar and amp (http://smartreg.co.uk/hosted/guitarweb.jpg). Haven't really used it in a couple of years so no point it sitting around.

All in all I'm selling... Price I paid a few years ago in brackets.

Yamaha Pacifica 112 (£150)
Laney GC30, 30 watt amp :) (£230)
Proper hard travel case (£80 but paid £30 cos it was returned)
leads and a switch. (dunno a tenner say)

So was gonna sell the lot for £200. How does that sound to anyone in the know ? I don't want to rip anyone off.

Usually the way I would determine the second hand value of something is like this;

1. How much would it cost NOW, ie/ If it's "top of the range" how much? If it's entry level, how much?

2. Halve it.

:)

A bit ambiguous I know, but your values (ie what you paid for the 2 years ago) are probably pretty meaningless, take PC components, if you paid £300 for a monitor 2 years ago chances are the equivalant model is now a lot cheaper than that)

guitars on the other hand haven't changed all that much in 50 years
£200 sounds like a nice figure to ask
