You have more pairs of shoes than most shoe shops do. How often do you actually _wear_ each of the pairs of trainers you buy?

HW - I've got enough pairs to be able to wear different ones each day for about a month and a half now.
But in reality there's about ten pairs I tend to wear more than all the rest.
One of the biggest joys of collecting trainers is when you've been doing it long enough that you go through the boxes and find a pair you forgot you had and wear them out that day.
It's like having a new pair of trainers but better cos you know you bought them years ago so you won't see anyone else around wearing the same ones and no-one will know where you got them cos they're not among the current stock in the shops.
My collection hasn't reached that point yet but I hope to find a forgotten gem sometime in the next year or two.
Get the tops ones, with white laces!!

HW asked me how many pairs I had. I answered and then elaborated upon it.
And the company I'm trying to buy the top ones from are in the US and they're saying they won't mark the import/export label down so I can avoid paying tax.
Wankers. I've sent an email back explaining that the info on that label is my responsibility, not theirs, and that British customs officers don't impose US law and so pose no threat to them at all. It's my door they'll bang on.
Doubt they'll see sense though. And doubt I'll have the integrity to cancel my order on the back of it. Will prob just get them anyway. Ho hum.

But you can rest easy. I'm on an attachment, which means my parent department pays my salary and my parent dept is BBC Broadcast which is a wholly-owned subsidiary company and makes it's money from private business. So your license fee is safe mate. Don't worry.

fingerz, tomorrow I'm gonna take a few photos of these new trainers we've got in dogfish, £100 a pair, but they're fucking sweet as, they're in the style of nike air max 1's I do believe, mid-top, and have wicked prints on them, one pair has a naked lady on :D one, scarface and the other, can't remember, not too sure about the colourways but they do look pretty sweet.
only 1000 made of each pair and each comes with a unique certificate telling you what number pair it is, my mate got a pair the other day, his was number 114 :)
