Now it seems certain members are... chickening out of going on the PvP server. Now I for one don't understand this. How can you choose what server to go in retail if you've had no experiance on it? :|

So when those servers go up "give PvP a chance".

Well it seems everyone else chickened out and went to a new server.

Me and the rest of WP went to PvP 0, formed a clan and haven't been ganked once (though there were humans sitting at brill waiting for a nub to attack them).

Server 2 PvE here.

PvP holds *zero* interest for me as it stands. Everyone checking Thottbot for potential opponent's stats and only attacking if the numbers are overwhelmingly in their favour? (gosh stats are sooo exciting). Ganking players 20 lvls lower endlessly? Not being able to complete quests because they're being camped by lamers?

No, sorry, that sounds about as exciting as beating yourself about the head repetidly with a brick. PvP as it stands is a temporary bodge, and a crap one at that.


Battlegrounds, however, are far more interesting. And will be on the normal servers. Proper battles, none of this 1 on 1 rubbish that was stale in muds 20 years ago.

Exactly as flossie said... battlegrounds are definately the way to go. PvP would be nice if the honour system worked, but sadly it doesn't.

I'm also on Beta 2, playing a NE hunter called Celderen at the moment. Getting a guild going, so if anyone wants to meet up, msg me.

ya but ratchet is in horde land, if u r a warlock u gotta go there quite a lot around lvl 30 todo warlock quests.

Am on the PvP #5 atm, just a little dwarf in a big land (I will have your ears orc scum), will prob switch realms sometime soon, servers don't seem very busy even at 6/7pm, it's lonely in the wilderness, any of you vagabonds on the PvP #5 aliance side of things? look for "blackisle"

Im gonna be making a new char on horde side for a bit still on betaserver though, my warlock is currently at lvl 44 and does very nasty damage. Most of my hits are critical hits to. Put your talents in the right place and they can make your spells really nasty >:)
