Time to shoot a comet

The Deep Impact (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/4162869.stm) mission has kicked off and in 6 months it will fire a projectile at a passing comet before watchin what happens.

you blatantly know, that comets are covers for some alien race who do fly pasts of earth to see wot we're up to...

by launching this rocket at it, he's only gone and declared interplanetary war against some alien race
