cant get need for speed underground 2 to start

hi i was wondering if anyone colud help ive just installed and uninstalled this game and reinstalled it and it comes up with cd/dvd emulation detected shut down programs and restart nfsu 2 (or something like that)so i shut down my background tasks restart and the dvd drive does not even want to know it wont recognise the cd or if it does i go to my computer and try to do it manually still no joy.

Hello,so does ur game install OK?Mine did then after a format my disks were dodgey as feck ,well the first disk is.Its takes ages 2 install the 1st disk but the 2nd disk copys in a matter of seconds .Oh and the autorun is borked to.So you may need to get the disks replaced, I didnt bother though .

it installs ok just wont autorun it knows the disc is there but just will not run it
