First time playing!

Finally had a chance to sit down and have a go at the game last night, not for long, just to make sure it worked!

Had only been in the virtual trainer for a few minutes when someone asked if I was new, and if I wanted some help/tips :D So, rather than stagger around in the dark, I got a good leg up into the game, and even invited into an outfit, the better to help me develop :D :D

This is exactly the reason I was interested in playing the game - the community side of it.

Is this the norm, or am I lucky?

Or is it because I opted for the traditionalist TR - the team that cares :lol:

normaly the TR are evil, but its never too hard to find good players willing to help. just remember just like other games, pi_ks are about too.

My bloody flatmate decided to "tweak" his registry last night (his comp is the gateway for our internet connection) and has buggered it all up, before sodding off on weekend!!

Had planned on getting a proper go on it the next couple of days, but now haven't even got email :o

Some good news - he's given me the internet account info/installation disc, so I can plug my lappy straight into the broadband connection :)

This game sounds better and better!!

Had my first real session on it yesterday, what a laugh! Especially as a gunner on a vehicle, killing with impunity! 8) That and blotting aircraft out of the sky as a trooper whilst they're busy attacking something else :lol:
