yep, you read it right, I read this poem on the bus!

Enigma here btw, I've undergone corporate rebranding. :P

it's part of a campaign to promote european culture etc on the bus, and they've taken some of the ad slots on the buses to put translated european poems on. :)

Anyway the one I really liked, and wanted to share was: (note: this is from memory, and thus may be in the wrong order or slightly wrong, however I dont think it matters too much, I cant remember the title tho)

--

You search for a word,
and find a language.

You kiss a mouth,
and marry a people.

You dig a hole,
and bump into a planet.

You look up,
and you are springtime.

--

First three verses I really like, I love the way it conveys the bigger picture. However, I really dont like the last verse. I fear it's probably because I may be missing the point somewhere :(

What do you lot think of the poem / the last verse? :)

I do see what you mean about the poem... I only guess that you look up in optimism and that Spring is an optimistic time of year, as it's leading to Summer...

Quite nice.

Those last two lines, for me, are my favourite part. Can't explain why they appeal
(Kinda reminds me of the World Party track - You're A Hurricane, I'm A Caravan. Go google for it's lyrics, you'll see what I mean :) )

I like the 1st and 4th two lines personally. First verse you can relate too often.
