If you need any tips about architect mr v just shout, was a master architect for a while. If you can get to master architect quickly you can make alot of money. Guild halls on new servers you can probably sell for about 500k. They do take about 60k resources though and its a pain in the neck producing power cores.

Thankfully they have fixed the architect profession since I did it. Its now possible to experiment on harvesters to increase their base extraction rate. You really can charge a premium for these. 10 ER medium minerals you can easily sell for 40k (probably more on new servers with fewer architects) A pretty good return considering they only take 4k resources.

Need to wait till master to get most of the experiment points though.

Well TKA/Scout didn't work out, mainly as I got master artisan. So now Mortin is grinding ye olde weaponsmith, and the newcomer Marin is taking care of the TKA fun. With a bit of Commandoness thrown in, hopefully... ;)

Still havent decided which profession to go for. But am swining towards smuggler at the moment. Will give Bounty Hunter a go when I have decent armour etc. Not really that bothered about trying to find out what my FSS is. Definately not into macro grinding.

Oh as for artisan there is violence if you having to survey for resources near some creatures lair which are nasty and will attack if your too near. So you will get your combat skills at least used.
