Im getting SWG for xmas, and i was wondering....

I want to play on a UK server, because the UK people are usually more mature than the 13-year-old dumbasses here in the states.

But, i live far away from the UK. Oregon, which is on the west coast of the US, actually.

I have a good connection, on DoD and such i get around 200-250 ping on UK servers.

Mainly, my question is, if I played on a UK server, would the lag be bad? Does SWG have a good netcode? Should I just stick with a US server with all the kiddies?

I play on Wanderhome (East Coast) and get a ping of about 140 from the UK, which is about what East Coast servers ping on other games. You should get about the same ping to the Euro servers as you do with DoD, although it's less of a problem with SWG as it's not as much an action game.

I don't find too many kiddies on Wanderhome tbh, it's a nice enough server (it must be, I'm on it :P).

Yep Wanderhome for me too :)

Also on a Euro svr (which are in Holland) - your connection should be fine - start a character on both and see for yourself - you can have up to 10 characters on different servers :)

i have a charcter on wanderhome and i ping at worst 150
I also have one on chimera and have given up with him for now..seems to be full of americans and germans taking over ...
