Question: When you crash, do bits fall off your car and does the performance degrade as a result?

Answer: No. RTFR TBH (the answer is there) :P

You do have to be on speed or be a hyper active child to play this game it is insanely fast.

If the cars dont break then the game is shit.

Its not really a car game they could be rapid boxing kangeroos and the gameplay would not really alter its all about stupid speeds, very stupid stunts and "omfg Ive got to try again" frustration (it the good way like games used to be). Its probably too hardcore for you QT :P stay with your bfv and noob choppers.

Oh and the music isnt that bad on this game either. Its fast paced dance stuff and fit the game well and doesnt get really annoying.

I can't remember the last time I played BFV...though I gave PoE a go at i23 but there were no helis on the map that was on. I'd kick your arse in a DC chopper dogfight anyway...you're a tard.

Finally got round to playing demo the other night... seems like it will be as fun as the first.

The joy of getting round pefect, then approaching the last jump 5º off the perfect angle and... /hits race reset key.

Its an acomplisment just to get round some of the tracks, never mind worrying about car damage !

There be another review here if it takes your fancy...

Got the game last night, the other environments seem pretty fun from what I've played, plenty of single player challenges to do to unlock coppers for track building. Again, one of the most frustrating games ever, but at the same time one of the most addictive!

I got the demo but only had a chance to play it quickly.
It has a rough feel and speed of the xtreme-g games and something that would of done best on a console platform.

Theres a billion and one little niggles i could do without ranging from control setup to unwarrented dodgy fps but it does seem like its a fun game.

Hopefully if digital jesters play their cards right they should be quite succesful as a new publisher as this isn't the only interesting game they've published.

what do you mean by control setup??? It just uses cursor keys as default.

a fps certainly isnt an issue, its one of the smoothest fastest games I have ever played.

I agree about a console version, its could rake in the cash on PS2, problem is for a success on the PS2 you need to spend BIG money on marketing.

I'm using a joystick and unless i centered the axis's right, it would autoselect things i didn`t want when i tried to configure new controls plus it won't let u erase an analogue input so u can't just use buttons only for things like brakes, having both doesn't work properly.

a fps certainly isnt an issue, its one of the smoothest fastest games I have ever played.

remind us what graphics card u have buzzard :P on my pc the frame rates can get a bit choppy and sometimes freeze.

I have been playing on it quite a bit (look at my xfire sig, i made it show sunrise as vanilla trackmania), i usually play on MPcomputers.net server as its a regular uk server and is in rounds mode which i like more thn simple time attack

and i got my ps2 controller setup no probs. Buttons for acceleration and analogue for steering, i had to increase the dead zone a bit so i didnt get random analogue movement.

Oh and i got bored and played around with the car painter
