Hi has anyone got this game i got it yesterday and think its great, my car isnt very good yet, but its coming on (206), maybe you's could post a screenie of your cars, ill post mine later :geek:

What do u mean, the best way to take a screenie in the game is to go to where u add new parts to it then, left click on it and drag the car aound so u get more views, the way to take a screenie is to press print screen and then ctrl v it in paint r sumit :|

Yeah that's what I meant!
Wasn't sure if there was a 'snapshot' hotkey like F5 or something, or whether to use plain old print screen and paste into a gfx app

very nice, my car hasn't moved on much since the last pic, as i havent played it in a bit, but when its good enough ill tkae it online 8)
Im just wondering how it looks on the ps2 compared to the pc,obviously not a super pc with all the details turned up.

To be honest, the PS2 version is the weakest of the lot. The lighting just seems a little "off" and there is a fair amount of slowdown. Even the G3 version out-performs it.

A very good game, installed it on Friday, completed it on Tuesday all 112 races. Very addictive, i'll do some work on my Nissan Skyline later when i get home and i'll post a screeny of it.

Here's my car, i had to redo it from scratch :!: as it wouldn't let me customize by car in underground mode as i have completed it!
*edit* looks like i need soem web space to upload it too!

Not completed it yet guys *tut* *tut* :P I really loved the drag mode, the circuit gets boring especially when doing 7 laps, and you make 1 mistake on the last lap and lose it, doh!

Drag mode gets on my "thrupn'y bits" !!
Find it real frustrating most times :E
I've noticed that I dont blink or breathe during a drag, anyone else catch themselves doing that?

according to everyone its better on the PC is this true?
probably in frame rate/draw distance and online terms then yeah it is better. other wise its exactly the same.

Aye the Supra does look the dogs bollox, and after having one meself for a bit I found its brilliant for drift events as its so easy to throw the back end out, and it's also excellent for drag, but it's handling isn't quite what you need for circuit racing.
After the Supra I got an Eclipse which was very good and now I've just bought a Skyline which also rocks. :D

I found drift so easy till i got my skyline. Then i had trouble as the car was so powerful that it ended up going into the sides if i didn't keep the speed down.
i had one well f00ked up drag race, basically a big pile up, cept i went spinnign through the air so high i couldn't see myself because the sky scrapers where blocking the view, i landed in 6th gear with engine complaining very loudly, but all the rest had totaled how i laughed.
I thought my civic needed livening up. :D

This game needs replays, that's the only major flaw with it. I've had some fab races on PC and on XBOX but with no replay system you'll have to take my word for it :/
The black alloys look cheap t3ch. ;p Nice car otherwise!

no but you wind up flying past in on your side a lot :lol:
its a good racing game but race 106 is ****ing frustrating, and race 111 seems to depend on what car you have :/ race 112 is patheticly easy by comparison to those 2.
I managed to unlock 2 unique spoilers and have no clue how i did it, anyone else manage to do this?
Now for the nice thingy I found, this for those of us who have completed the game. It unlocks ALL the visual uniques.

Also I've noticed that unless you've had a part on your car in underground mode, you can't put it on custom rides, so buy EVERYTHING guys.
My Skyline can reach upwards of 218mph in drag races. No puffer jacket here ;p
uh do any of the uniques give you a seven speed gearbox?
