Anyone Used/Using Skype

Is anyone using Skype (http://www.skype.com) from the makers of Kazaa? I am thinking of using for some in game chatter between me & my m8 but I am concerned that being related to Kazaa it is going to contain loads of spy/ad ware, can anyone confirm or deny?

its a universal P2P client, it users all p2p networks (eDonkey2000, eDonkey, Gnutella2, Gnutella +more) and BitTorrent

and no spy/ad ware, what more do you need :D
