...and quite honestly, I'm stuck in two minds about presents. I mean, I'm working and earning, but I'm currently paying back two credit cards, plus on top of that I have the rest of a student loan and a graduate loan to pay back. Including interest, that's £8,000, and I think I've paid back £3,000 so far in the last year or so. I have to pay back about £1,000 on my credit cards but it's not exactly urgent, as the interest rates aren't a real problem. I end up with probably £50 a month left after all outgoings. I will merge the credits cards onto one, I have a £4,000 credit limit on that one anyway so I've got a fair distance to go but I'm not exactly going to spend it. It does alarm me that HSBC raised it to £2,000 earlier this year and have now just doubled it...
So, I should have some money for Christmas, but my problem is knowing what to buy for people. Same old story really. I mean, what do you buy for four siblings plus two parents, and friends on top of that, when you hardly speak to virtually any of them? :(
Ideas? :)
