An odd praise but McDonald's staff. I have to commend their swift action and assistance when a group of youths threatened my girlfriend and myself with violence. Will certainly be writing a complement letter to head office and the restaurant manager.

sorry to hear you encountered such behaviour, i notice no photos of the food, i hope they weren't judging your squinting at the food - i can honestly say, i've never seen staff intervene in an argument unless it's a local pub, would have expected the maccy dees staff to try to avoid getting involved - 'not worth it on their wages', and it's usually passerbys that have to step in. it's good to hear, you care to elaborate?

Two of the three cretins mentioned in my previous post have been arrested. Both admit to threatening violence towards my girlfriend and myself, though deny it being racially aggravated and denied saying any racist comments. Which is laughable as you can hear one of the guys telling me to "fuck off back to my own country" as he walks out of McDonald's, unfortunately, that was the only race related comment caught on camera.

Just have to wait until they "format" the CCTV footage from McDonald's and see what the CPS decision is. At least I expedited things my end and converted the video I took from .mov to .avi and burnt it on CD for them...

Most CCTV footage comes out of the DVR in a proprietary format. This is mainly due to the need for "untainted" footage. You can't fuck around with it and change dates and times. Which is why the court's requirement for footage that can be played on a standard DVD player is fucking stupid and has wasted a lot of my time over the years.

Not to mention the fact that I've submitted "edited" footage of some serious incidents (a body wrapped in carpet being dumped in a bin store, someone leaving and returning to a building an hour later and hiding the machete he'd used to try to hack someone's hand off with in another bin store, and finally the cunt in Mansfield who stabbed a toddler then literally swung then kicked him out of the front door into a car park a couple of months ago, to name but three) to the police upon their request for "just the pertinent parts".
