Well, I've made it to 52. Not sure I can face the SAME game again, with just harder mobs. Feels like I've played that first act about 7 times. It's a sad day when dealing/making money on the AH is more fun that playing the actual game it's supposed to support.

i only got to try it over the weekend but i was really impressed with it. the skill trees are massive and the combat is just as good as diablos. While In the towns it acts like an mmo where you see other players running about sorting there gear/trading etc. I was really looking forward to torchlight 2 but I'm leaning more towards this since it looks more moody. It's all so going to be free to play so i'll defo be trying it, just looking at some of the higher level combat on youtube sold it to me

Oh yeah! I've never seen a game with so much hype just die with 1 patch. Reading the forum is the most painful thing ever - nothing but moaning about the game. The last x-fire stat I seen for D3 reportedly had less than 8000 people playing which is awful for a game that sold millions. What’s really put me off is that none of the blues reply to forum posts asking legit questions and the patch notes for the up and coming 1.0.4 is just awful. They’re adding things that people didn’t ask for and fixing nothing. Most the guys who set up youtube channels to do 'lets plays' have all but given up.

PoE is excellent, only level 10 so I won't say too much in fear of looking stupid(er) down the line but I'm really enjoying it and well worth the $10!

The only eugh thing for me is that the view is quite close, wouldn't mind it being a bit further out!

He believes that a franchise will continue to sell, no matter what. I don't see anything like as many diablo fans jumping to buy Diablo 4 if it's ever made. 3 has been, ultimately, a really big let down.

Ill be honest with you mate, after the past 3 or so years of WoW (After Vivendi merged Blizzard with Activision) I had expected nothing less. Blizzard no longer give a toss about their customers, just about how much money is coming in. If that sounds like an oxymoron, consider the fact that despite losing 2.5 million subscribers since the release of the Cataclysm expansion, their operating profits have actually gone up. That indicates lower development and support staff, which you could REALLY tell just by seeing the pitiful "updates" that Blizzard released during the course of Cataclysm.

Its why I didnt buy Diablo 3. Blizzard have gone to shit.

Also, everybody read the link that DoZ posted. Ive read it before, but it really is an incredible read, the shows how badly the merger with Activision fucked the company up. Blizzard before Activision were amazing, but after that theyve become money grabbing arseholes.

Great link that; I honestly stopped playing Wow when lich king came out. I hated trying to pvp with a warrior which needed pve gear to be any good. I couldn’t stand the bullshit that came along with the PVE stuff, so I gave up. It wasn’t until I hit max level in D3 that I started playing wow again due to them giving me 10 days free. Needless to say I hit 85 really fast (2 days I think) and still wasn’t impressed with the pve stuff (fucking hated the water zone). I might still get MoP due to the warrior overhaul which makes them looks godlike now, so it’ll make the part of the game I enjoy more fun. Second reason is it’s about the only game Nostrus plays and I missed the banter (He’s a mate in RL). I had heard the rumours about blizzard becoming totally shit but I thought that was just the usual moaning and groaning about stuff, How wrong was I?! For a company I used to really respect it’s just tragic they’ve gone down this route. I honestly never thought twice about blowing 45 bucks on D3 due how popular SC2 was but I totally wish I had spent the money on trying to keep this pc of mine still going. I really hope they do fix D3 but I just can’t see it after all the things I’ve read. If I do buy MoP, it’ll be the last thing I buy from them. But like I said before, I’m only getting it because I miss the banter with Nostus.

In other news... I got my PayPal working and invested in PoE, It’ll fill the time that D3 was supposed to when I hit my conquest points cap in wow

Thats when it all started going downhill, although Ulduar was fantastic, probably one of the best raid instances theyve ever done. I really want to like D3, i really do, but I just can't. So many of the big differences from D2 have ruined its re-playability. Maxing level before the end of Hell, on-the-fly skill changing, the terrible loot system, the Auction House etc. all conspire to make the game shit, and it's such a shame.

Aaaaaaand as if to prove my point, Blizzard have lost 1.1 million WoW subscribers in the last 3 months. They say its because you lot are all playing Diablo 3 instead!

Cant wait to see their subscriber results when the Annual Pass subscription model ends in a couple of months

Fucking typical! Really started enjoying PoE but as i got later into the game it stutters so bad i can't play. It could be that the games got a bug in it or that my computer is sooo shit that it can't run it right..... i've got a feeling that'll be the computer. I should just give on on p.c gaming since my rig's just too old

Mine lags really bad the first minute or so in a game when I see enemies but stops after that initial lag.
