finally got my premium code...
tried some gungame...old skool plagiarism!

and then CQ....really like the new condensed indoor maps and the whole thing reminds me of CS! anyone else surprised by it?

also, Gunmaster is nowhere near as much fun as CS:Gungame with the right maps, people and config

how did they get away with nicking that? commercially....did they just steam roll over the original writers of the mod or is it not eligible for IP

The weapon configs in gunmaster are pretty shit tbh, e.g. jackhammer with standard mag and frags? er If I dont hit them with all 7 I'm dead, You'd be better clubbing the fuckers with it.

Why couldnt it just be the basic guns, and why do some of them (AUGA3 for example) behave differently in proper multiplayer?

Yeah, some of the scopes make no sense either, i mean, who the fuck puts a 4.3x scope on a fucking machinegun?

Well I do occasionally (usually at the start of metro, or if I'm covering the main street on Bazaar) but usually its an eotech or a reflex sight. In a close quarters map a magnified scope is fucking pointless.

yeah, LMG shouldn't be for short range spray and run anyway
should be for long range fire support.

also the game is even more warped than I remember. on Gungame CS it wasn't as bad, deagle to the face sort anyone out
whereas SMG's are a huge upgrade and then assault rifles will cane your ass!
which is how it should be....so it makes the gungame on BF3 in to more luck and rock, paper scissors, shotgun!
you get lucky and catch two people on the stairs, muller them, then you're ahead and have a massive advantage.

With the jackhammer it works best if you shoot the wall/floor around them, the flak does more damage than the original shot.

I agree tbh, I cant help but feel gun game is just another public pleaser for when they are bored of not capping flags or taking points!

They should give some focus on the sqrush side imo, the pc version from what i can tell is kicking up a lot of dust in the pro world and it will probably make some pro league somewhere and the console is gaining speed too. there is 2 leagues in the uk (wgl Championship/premier) plus the big us gamebattles and the euro league of CSL which have multiple leagues

Sure its not on the scale of cod but its a better game hands down, everything can be dissected if you want or you can gun and run it, reminds me of CS

I've been thinking a cut down version of rush with single points instead of pairs would work quite well on the CQ maps. But the vertical nature of some of them (Ziba Tower in particular) might prevent this.

TBH since getting the MP5K (which is an evil little rapestick btw) I've not been back on CQ, I'll probably go on CQA to unlock the JNG90, but after that, don't think I'll return to it.....ever really.

TBH the M249 and M60 can do both, which is correct as both have real life variants designed for higher mobility.
