Thought it was spectacular. It's rare that you get a proper beginning, middle and end to movies like this (the comic book hero variety that is). As much as people love to put movies in rank order, I do find that difficult with these three. Although pushed I may choose TDK. They're very much on par where I sit.
Also, Spoiler: highlight to read

They just don't develop the characters though. It's almost as though it needs to be a 12 part series. Take Bane for example; we still don't really know that much about him. They touch on the back story and then on with the show, as though they think "Hmm, we better introduce this guy for those that don't read comics..." A narrative like in Sin City is the only way. Now THAT was a comic book movie!

That was also more or less a shot for shot remake of each of the stories it was based on and turned out rather awesome. A damn good testament to the writing and style in the first place I'd say.

Went to see it again today, and this time the projector didn't overheat leading to us being kicked out just as he got back to Gotham
![]() Really enjoyed it, the usual cast were good as always and I thought Tom Hardy was excellent as Bane. Think I'd give it a high 8.

Perhaps they insert a section that makes the latter half of the film make any fucking sense at all. I'm all for it.

Just got round to seeing this tonight. Thought it was decent, but the Bane character was woefully underused imo. I thought Hardy did a fantastic job of portraying his own version of Bane and I would have liked to see a lot more of it.
Spoiler: highlight to read
Definitely set up for a sequel as well, but I thought this was meant to be the last one. I am confus.

Thought it was a bit boring tbh. There were some good bits, but it dragged.
Here's honest trailers:

Very good movie, not as strong as the second but very enjoyable. I tend to find batman the least interesting character the surporting cast carried this movie with ease. Anne Hathaway fucking brillant in the role the switch between helplessness to venom was amazing (and that arse..oh God that arse). Tom hardy played the role well I found the character very restricted just due to the mask but his presence was immense. Tom Hardy is a fantastic actor but his full potential was not realised, I personaly would have adapted the character very differently and his death was bullshit.
I would have had him purely as the General, Batman never seeing him fight or kill someone until he gets bitch slapped. He should have been a character who just walks in a room and his presence takes the fight out of people the contrast being that Batman needs to dark to scare people but Bain can do it in the Light. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was the star of the movie for me, I was more then willing to invest time into his characters development. Bruce Wayne..quite frankly bored of him now, personaly I would have had crippled him for the whole second half of the movie and instead have had Blake take on the mantle going along the lines of you can break the man but you can never break the Legend. Final scene should have been Bain finding Bruce in a wheelchair and wondering just who the hell was behind the counter offensive then Blake stepping out of the shadows as the Ulitmate detective version of Batman. Have Blake defeat him with his intelligence over brute force. Of crouse end with Bruces 'sacrifice' and the city idolising him. Yes it may not have worked but I would have pulled a switch for the entire second half of the movie with the viewer thinking Bruce was the Batman but instead being Blake with the shock being the reveal. How to do this have Batman constantly strike from the shadows, never seeing his face and only hearing his voice (altered through tech). In all I realy hope Joseph Gordon-Levitt takes on the role and becomes the detective version of Batman High intelligence, good fighting skills and using his smarts to win. Bruce became a blunt instrument Blake can become the Scapel.
