To top off an already impressively shit last 12 months (excluding the birth of baby girl), my brother in law is currently en route back from Afghan after getting blown up by an IED leaving him on life support with serious spinal injuries.

Well that's one fairly impressive way of getting out of buying duty free.

Tony Nicklinson can't choose to die, yet Assange can (allegedly) rape someone, post any old shit on the internet that comes his way, seemingly without caring about the consequences, and he gets a holiday in Ecuador. Something wrong somewhere.

Best of luck to him - the trauma surgeons in the army are the best around. My cousin was shot through the neck by a sniper this time last year - within 14 hours he was back in the UK in intensive care at Selly Oak hospital.

He lost 10% of his left lung as a result, but was back up and around after 2 months.

He'll be in good hands.

About 3 weeks ago I bought a pair of MTB 3/4 length cycle shorts from a retailer off eBay, all seemed well, quality of product, feedback for seller, etc, so I decided to buy a MTB top as well.

So anyway, top turns up, I purchased it in a size that would generally be loose fitting despite my portly size, and low and behold it was skin tight. To be fair the retailer offered to exchange or refund for a larger size and supplied a prepaid label to return the top. The larger top turns up and doesn't fit either, so I return for a refund.

Scroll forward to last Tuesday, I notice that the material of the shorts has frayed and is coming apart around the seam of the crotch. I contact the retailer who tell me they are aware of this problem with the shorts, and offer me refund or replacement. Stupidly I go with replacement, but a different pair which were more expensive. To be fair, they didn't charge me the difference for the new shorts, and supplied a prepaid bag to send the faulty shorts back.

So the new shorts turn up, same size as the shorts I originally purchased, and I can barely get them up over my thighs. Just sent both pairs back in the prepaid bag for a refund. Once the refund has been paid anyone know how I can change my feedback on eBay? Had a brief look, but seems I can add follow up comment and that is it.

Funny, a few people have come out with that one

In all seriousness though, this is why I generally buy branded clothes from known retailers, as you know the sizes will be consistent.

Having to pay 99 euros for a plane ticket when using air miles for the booking, despite having more than enough redeemable miles for the whole trip.

Though many of them would struggle to match that level of customer service! If you get a refund why on earth would you want to change to negative feedback?

It would really depend on when they became aware of any issues with the shorts etc and sizing differences are pretty common. Just seems a bit..harsh for a company thats given you more expensive replacements without charging you, offered to pay all costs for return and presumably is going to offer you a full refund. Other than sucking your cock in apology they cant really do a whole lot else

Sizing difference is rubbish tbh. I ordered a size which should have been loose fit, and even the larger size I had as a replacement was tight. They knew about the quality issues as they replied within an hour of my complaint stating that they were aware. Apart from that they have also wasted plenty of my time...

I hate sizing issues, generally I'll fit in a medium, going somewhere like superdry I need at the very least large, normally add an x to that. Maybe it depends on where they're manufactured or designed?
