We haven't strengthened the defence at all (apart from Clyne) so we were never going to hold on, good effort though and much better than i expected.

A few signings this week and we'll be ok.

On the contrary, I think it was a perfect test and I think they did very well. City are at pretty much full strength and it doesn't come much harder than that.
