Yeah, just flatten it off and make it usable. Rather than like it is at the moment, spawning on the upper slopes of mount doom. I'll spawn in some machinery and stuff and make it handy.

So when I leave my quarry running and piping all the shit into a condenser then log off, does it not keep going while I'm away? I always come back to an empty quarry and no shit in my condenser / chests.

Did you place a world anchor or a chunk loader block placed in the chunk with the stuff you want running?

aye you need a world anchor mate, same with oil rigs thats far away or lava pumps! the pipes dont need them as that travels between you and the area though as far as I can tell

use teleport pipes or ender chests for long distance transportation. Ender Chests are slightly better as they work cross-dimension, but a bit more fiddly for liquids (hint: use redpower).

Been a productive day or two! Got my little compound up and running and all fenced off now, got the geothermal generator bubbling away nicely and MFE full to the brim (600k EU) ready to go on the new quarry I've set out (Which is massive but im hoping on the crap as well as the goodies as it matures!) Just made my energy link too but its almost time to bath the little one so I'll get it all wired up when the misses settles for xfactor

Also, there is a empty house right next to me for anyone who needs help or would like to extend the compound I forget my coords but I'll get them if anyone wants to use it!

The thing that annoys me about the tekkit mod is the different and incompatible power options, I built some solar panels and a battery box only to discover they were for blutricity and not compatible with the things I wanted to power, that's a chunk of resources gone that I can't get back.

Anyone want to trade? Got 8 blutricity solar panels and a battery box available.

There is a way to combine power sources mate, you can power your stuff now with a water mill and a few other bits and bobs, next time your on ill come over and help u get sorted!

The energy link is the best bet once you have stuff set up, for example I use a geothermal generator which will power macerators, compressors and all them kind of things but wont power a quarry directly... So the what you need is a energy link which converts the energy and ships it through conductive pipes!

I've not got the resources to build a nuclear reactor... I'll do the nether glitch I suppose for now while i gather the stuff for nuclear but I swear to god if it blows and wipes me your rolling back the server!!!!

Blulectric has no power converters that Im aware of. Its part of the redpower mod and only Buildcraft and Industrialcraft can have blocks that interchange power supplies.

Learnt something about the energy link which was interesting, it will force as much power as possible to the pipes its powering, thus making the power source work harder for no reason unless you power multiple things from the pipes. So to stop it place the energy link next to what its power (quarry for example) and it will only use what it needs.
