i think players go down easily over emphasising the contact made. I dont know why they have to pretend their leg has been amputated each time though.

it was disgusting dive, but to be honest, he hasnt been given a few pens this year. his rep for diving probably doesnt help that.

Has to be said, there have been a few dodgy refereeing decisions....

But still, we just don't have the player base we used to. Not enough young 'uns coming through with the sort of skill & strength to play a proper passing game, instead we keep lumping the ball doon the park to a striker who's 5'10", and up against defenders who are 6'5"

We have the same old complaints tbh.

The Wales game narked me off because the disallowed goal which was a goal and the penalty which was bale clipping his own heals. We underperformed in the other 2 games and I expected no better than a draw against Belgium - who are a great side with great players.

The standard of the refereeing in this game has been shocking. No complaints about ivanovic but the Torres sending off and that Hernandez goal were awful decisions.

The latter's not really the refs call, though it was obviously offside, and Torres' was harsh no doubt but the fact remains the minuscule contact didn't cause the fall so I don't think there can be too much argument; it's just highly unusual to see a ref book someone for diving when they're already on a yellow.
