yeah, i went to see it on saturday,
as you say, its a quality flick, certainly on a par with lock stock and snatch, and the mrs even enjoyed it too!
id give it 8.5/10

I laughed outloud on some parts;

Aye. I thought it was good too.

Had been told by a mate that it was less 'slick' than Snatch and Lock Stock but dunno where he got that info from. It was very slick with some great fx at the beginning and very well edited.

In fact, it was a bit too well edited in places, for example...

After the lingerie scene, where he gets taken up to the roof to meet Ediie Temple (Michael Gambon) for the first time. When they go down in the lift there's a shot where they show it as if through his eyes. As he looks out over the city on the way down, the other lift passes them on its way up to the top. It's very brief but there's clearly the outline of a man in the lift going up. Anyone know who it's sposed to be? At the time I thought it might be Dragan (which was the actor's real name btw, anyone else notice that?) but looking back I can't see why it would be.

Didn't dig this at all.

I didn't follow it at all and just couldn't work out who anyone was or what was going on. I'm really bad with names and faces in films so all this larrys brothers uncles mothers friend sister crazy bob stuff confuses the hell out of me.

There were several major plot points I just totally failed to understand too including most of the ending.

disagree really, the humour is far more subtle and less slapstick than guy ritchie films, still just as much humour though.

and in my opinion much better than lock stock or snatch, I can watch layer cake again and again and never get tired but i cant watch either lock stock or snatch over again

When i saw this i knew it was in same vein as lock stock and snatch so i wasn't disappointed.

Alot of ppl i know also said the same as Neutron though , that the ending was predictable.

Overall a decent film worth taking the time to watch.
