Location for "Trickery LAN" suggestion

As we're after a possible venue for Trickery LAN I though i'll better put forward my shop, as I think it might fit the bill.

Basicly its an internet cafe and LAN gaming centre, with space for 36 people downstairs. Although its a shop, we are able to take bookings on the entire premisis as long as it was for quite a few people. We also have an upstairs room that can house 16 people, and can be inuse whilst the rest of the shop is open.

Basicly, on a weekend your looking at £30 per person from early sat. morning to late sun evening, this includes overnight. This price is based on 30 people, and will drop if more people attend.

There is desk space for 30-40 people downstairs. We can provide PCs, keyboards, mice and monitors, if needed, as well as the tables, chairs and all the networking, as well as our 4Mb broadband connection. This is all included in the cost.

Our PCs have a large selection of games, installed on them, and you can bring your own games if we do not have the ones you want.

Each PC has a P4 2.8Ghz CPU, 1GB DDR400 RAM and Sapphire Radeon 9800 pro 128MB. Although probably not as good as most of you have at home, they play every game we have fine, from CS:S to battlefield to DOOM3. We also provide Samsung SyncMaster 753s 17" CRT monitors, Keyboards and Logitech optical wheel mice, as well as a headset with a micropone.

So if you want to bring your whole setup, just your base unit, or nothing at all we can accomodate you.

The network structure is all in place, every bench has 10/100 RJ45 LAN connections that link to our HP Procurve 24 port swiches (model HP 2324), which in turn connect to our Router and our dedicated server. The dedicated server is basicly a windows box with the same spec as our PCs ( minus the graphics card) which we can host any games on if needed. We also have a dedicated ventrilo server running.

We have 1 toilet downstairs currently, but are building another 2 upstairs. We have a members room with sink, microwave, kettle and TV. Over the weekend the shop staff will be here as normal. We keep a fully stocket fridge of Coke (regualr and diet), DrPepper, Fanta, Sprite, Red Bull and water, as well as the usual arrangement of crisps, snacks and pot noodles.

The only thing we can't provide is lots of sleeping space. There are a few places a few people can crash out, (sofa beds etc) but not enough for eveone, so you will need to look into b&bs etc.

We're situated in the middle of Basildon, Essex. (SS141HG). There is an asda, McDonnalds, Burger King, KFC, Pizza hut plus various other food shops all within 2 mins walking distance. The train and bus stations are within 5 mins walking distance. At the back of the shop is an open air carpark for several hundred cars, its okay to part overnight there, and if you leave after 8pm the barriers are up, so its free to exit.

Gah knew I forgot some stuff from that list.

We are not a licensed premises, which mean we're not allowed to server alcohole to our customers. As this will be a private event, you are allowed to bring your own alcohole, and there are plenty of shops that sell it around here.

As for anyone that smokes there will be areas provided away from the computers (might be in the back room or outside)

Cant find it on the map but it sounds great if your asking me. I mean those machines aint exactly bad and mine aint too much over them. It well outweighs having to lug my machine across the UK and more so the monitor. Id prolly need to travel on a train to the lan anyways so distance to anywhere in england aint really too much different to me. . . just one thing:
