My LAN news

Well it's just one week until I move my LAN's into my new venue. I would like to thank all the people who have attended my other events in the past which has given me the confidence to continue to do what I love.

The new venue is a million miles away from what I had been using and that was a major improvement from the one before that. I can now hold events for up to 200 players. Feedback from previous players and my own opinion is that a LAN party with this number gives you the players a much more enjoyable experience.

With the introductions of other entertainments in the form of ceiling cinema, poker night, bar quiz, astronaut survival night, karaoke, fully licensed bar, 24hr cafe and just for fun a massive bouncy castle.

The location of the new venue is much more accessible to all major transport links.

The new website will be up and running soon which will have much more info on the LAN's, plus links to all the new up and coming game servers.

Well today is the big day.

The new gigabyte network have been delivered giving blazingly fast speeds. The buses are on route picking up the first of the lanners. Had a bit of a scare with all this nasty plane bomb business but as things have calmed down people are still ok to bring there pc's on the flights.

As for who is attending we have got a lot of overseas players from Germany, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Portugal, Denmark and Ireland. Some are flying in today and others are using the cross channel ferries.

Camping is now allowed on site as well as the upstairs for people to sleep. We even have a full size football pitch to use seeing as tomorrow is the start of the new premiership season, some of them want to have there own footie game.

Will hopefully post pics next week.

And if you want to come to the November event it would be nice to see some more new and old faces.

This is going to be one hell of a LAN event!
