Annoying Vista problem when viewing video from the Net.

Hello!

I have recently encountered a problem with Windows Vista.

Essentially, everytime I used to click to view a video off the internet, it would open up in Windows Media Player, stream and then play.
Easy peasy.

Now, recently, it's decided it doesn't like doing that. So if I click on a link it would of usually played (like above) I get a 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'. And thats on every video I try.

It plays fine if I right-click it, and save it somewhere, and then play from there, but alas, it's slightly annoying, and much more effort.

Any ideas to go back to the old way would be much appreciated

Ta.

Tried resetting the file types for wmp? You can check to see if any changes have been made to defaults in Control Panel > Default Programs

Cheers Gra. I did have a quick look at the default programs bit, and was messing about with the wrong one.
The one I wanted was to set everything back to default, and now its fine.

Top man!
