Still makes me laugh that gif.

One of this VR lot needs to hurry the hell up. Star Citizen neeeeeeeeeeds for me to have this. And then also a new graphics card or two. And the x55, or x52 Pro because blue glowing and because red safety cover over firing button.

Has anyone tried the GearVR ? I've got my mates DK2, and with a resolution upgrade it would be perfectly good enough released for racing games. Plenty of people out there will spend £300+ on a wheel setup, and I think this adds just as much to the immersion. And obviously there are other target audiences.

Thinking of dropping into the Samsung store to try the Gear VR when I can.

Big shock - Valve product delay. Vive (kind of) delayed. Won't be available in significant numbers until 2016.

My eldest lad was gutted. The rumour was they were going to release it at a Nvidia event in the UK yesterday. He was refreshing the news all day waiting to order it, and they left this announcement right till the end.

Depends on the regional pricing somewhat that could either be "oh id pay that little bit more than the rift" or "nah ill just buy a car" territory.

Vive sounds really impressive, thinking I'll switch my pre-order over from the Oculus when its announced.

I'm getting both, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Vive's price - I was expecting more like $999.
