Definitely feels faster to render pages. I like the new look too.
My go-to RSS reeder (Sage) isn't supported so having to use an alternative (Feedbro) which works just fine.

Can anyone spec me some laptops that can run Minecraft?

They suggested a 150 netbook. So you can see they want it on the cheap

I'd have said a minimum of an i3 with 8gb ram and some sort of Nvidia gpu. Minecraft is a bigger cunt than it looks.

That's what I'm thinking. It's for a 7 year old, who already has Minecraft on the PS4 but they still want a laptop, they did originally want a gaming PC.

Don't think they realise the costs just because PS4 can be bought for like 200-300.

Looking at the minimum spec processor (CPU: Intel Core i3-3210 3.2 GHz, according to can you run it) that processor on it's own cost more than the two netbooks they linked me to

What about an iPad with Minecraft on it? 339 for the 32GB base model. You could get a cheaper refurbished one from the Apple refurbished store or an older generation one.

Even then that's too expensive. I'm just telling them to stick to the PS4.

Cheers for the help chaps.

Turns out he (the 7yr old) wanted to make youtube videos. So add on the ability to play the game and record gameplay at a decent level then edit himself into the video then I just give up

Half a floor? Posh bastard! Our room didn't even have walls and we had to take turns as the Christmas tree holding a star made of stale bread above our head.

stale bread? we'd have been glad to have even seen stale bread. 37 of us living in a wet cardboard box, used to get up before we went to bed to enable us all to fit. spent all the day sewing nike with only one needle between us, those who weren't holding it got beaten to keep warm...

The server and the TV and phone apps often throw up weird errors that make no sense. The TV app also won't play certain files for no obvious reason. Heaven forbid you want to change the temporary transcoder folder from default.

Lol no idea what you're doing lung. You configure a few folders and then it goes. I had problems in the past playing files on the native TV dlna app, presumably because plex itself isn't transcoding then. I've never had a problem casting or streaming on an app that isn't related to my mediocre WiFi.

Yeah I'm pretty sure Plex would transcode a jam sandwich if I shoved it into the PC.

I changed the transcoder folder to one that was empty from one that was full (the default it chose). Most files worked fine, but Amazon web dl files utterly refused to work, throwing up a missing codec error but it was the transcoder location. Switched it back to default and it worked fine. And there have been other issues with some MKV files simply not working due to whatever was inside them, convert them to mp4 and they were fine too. It can be a picky fucker but it's still good and works most of the time with no problems.

for me the reason was file type on a 5yr old Samsung - it's not the same version of the app across the range and that year tv doesn't have the most grunt, not sure about the newer models. set that to be decoded by the source and problem solved.

no other issues ever encountered

Probably a really stupid question...

On a fridge freezer which only has one temperature control, does it control the freezer and fridge temperature ?

We just bought a new house and they left the integrated fridge freezer. It only has one temperature dial on the outside of the freezer (nothing at all on the fridge). The fridge does seem cool enough but it doesn't get really really cold. But the instructions I found for the fridge just talk about how this dial controls the freezer temperature, there's nothing at all about controlling the fridge ? Does it control both ?

Then we brought our Beko fridge with us to keep in the garage and I turned it on for the first time last night. This just has a control inside the fridge which obviously does make the fridge colder. But as nothing is currently in the fridge I set it to minimum as we are only using the freezer. Stuff has been sat in the freezer for about 15 hours and it's still not completely frozen. So does this dial control the freezer temperature too ??

None of the manuals actually explain how this works.
