539 days to go. How much worse it's going to get? No note-worthy player in their right mind would sign for us between now and next summer. Atrocious state to be in.

Another fantastic team performance led by the wondrous Arsene Wenger. How will we cope without him?

Yeah I think every other team's fans are very happy to see City take a long overdue hammering.

Agreed, would even give Danny Ward a run in the side. Strong rumours we are looking at the Brazilian Alisson who plays for Roma, or Jack Butland. Still a good win, some cracking goals, and without VVD or Coutinho.

Arsene Wenger selling Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool knowing that six months down the line it would put an end to Man City's challenge to The Invincibles - genius! Give that man a new contract!

I've been pleasantly surprised be the Ox. I remember him breaking into the Arsenal side, and was going to be the next "big thing." He never really seemed to progress from there, and I thought Liverpool were making a big mistake by signing him. But he's been a totally different player, and he seems like genuinely nice bloke.

Theo Walcott makes switch from Arsenal to Everton in 20m move

Pretty cheap! I thought Arsenal would've had to pay more.

Looks like Chelsea are trying to gazzump Everton in the game of stupid transfers by paying 20m for Andy Carroll

Crouch has always been underrated imo. He's not just a big man who can head the ball; he's got a good touch and technique. If they're looking for a plan B he'd probably not cost a lot and he's a nice guy so would fit into the squad well.

Apparently, someone pissed in the QPR keeper's water bottle during the Middlesbrough game.

I have to say, considering how I felt about the club and direction we've been going in up until 4 weeks ago, to how I feel about it all now, I think we have had a pretty good month behind the scenes. Wenger has certainly lifted his grip in certain areas, and we have a backroom team growing that managed to pull off a big signing, and convinced Ozil to sign a new contract.

With Raul Sanllehi starting work today joining them, I think we're actually in the home straight for Wenger's departure. Until then, we're still going to play woeful football at times, but I'm now looking at these players post Wenger, and when the new manager comes in, we should be getting back to winning ways and ultimately back into the top 4.

Everton tomorrow, Walcott chould have a field day with our defence
