clearly it'll never reached the dizzy heights of Mort.
I have Feet Of Clay put away for another re-read once I finish, unless amazon send me my copy of William Blake's The marriage Of Heaven & Hell before i'm done.

I got The Oracle and Spartan as a pair from ASDA and started on Oracle...halfway through I have all but abandoned it as it is a bit tedious and repetative...moved on to Dean Koontz "Frankenstein"

What are you reading at the moment?

Since the old thread got killed off due to stupid forum related shenanigans...

I'm reading Skellington by John Allison.

I keep getting confused. Storm of Swords sounds too much like Sword in the Storm by Gemmell.

Knight Of Dark Renown is Gemmell's best. Followed by the Jon Shannow, Jerusalem Man books.

Not read Knight... yet, and the Jon Shannow books just don't appeal to me. I'm sure I'll get round to them one day.

The Rigante books are the ones that I like best, along with Lion of Macedon.

Can anyone possibly recommend me a book? I want something religious-esque, preferably along the lines of Dante's Inferno, or a similar sort of book. I just finished William Blake's marriage of heaven and hell. I reckon the next thing I'll read is Paradise Lost, but I need more things to read ;(.

possibly, but i didn't see it as being worthwhile in starting a new thread for 1 or 2 replies at most.

edit: perhaps you were right, Dave - I seem to have killed the thread.

Finised Hovercraft Racer by Matthew Reilly - pretty good "in between" read, but not as good as his others.

currently almost finished book 1 (Magicians Guild) by Trudi Canavan. Not sure about this yet - ever get the feeling of a story getting dragged out to fill 3 books instead of only 1?
