Nowt to do with the 50k + price tag then lol. I was considering getting the maclaren F1 but it's just too nippy for my work commute so I decided against it....

You can pick up a good 360 for about £35k now. Almost accessible.

yep until you service it, fence it, car park accident it. also remember they aren't designed for driving 'that fast' on the streets, using the accelerator is a no, no unless you have control over your limbs

the cost is prohibitive for the masses hence why these cars are rare plus ferrari don't knock them out in bulk, not even the toyota replicas. no one gives a fuck about your pocket money

Or rather the cost is high because they're rare.

...because the italians are too lazy to consider mass production i guess, can't commit to anything the whimsical bunch. that and the masses don't need 2 seater supercars to pop to asda and back over speedbumps, commute and school run, granted the back seats will normally accomodate a couple of flids and now even possible for an actual 4 seater

would be nice though but lambo would be nicer, less hairdressery

The waiting lists for Ferrari's off the line and the punchy after-market makes it pretty obvious they could sell more of them, but rarity plays into how much people will pay.

sorry! I didn't know you were minted! I just presumed a lad in his 20's who lives at home with his parents and was bought his first car and works in a pram shop wouldn't be farrari worthy! How wrong I was!

Living at home is a choice for now. friends of same age do similar. maybe its a london thing. I dont think many 17yr olds can afford a 20k car, so that doesnt bother me the slightest. So your point then comes to how much money you cld earn in a pram shop.

p.s. no i cant afford a ferrari....atm

a 20k car is a waste if you aren't already on the property ladder. 1-3k motor would see you happy enough unless it's about the show. owning a property is far more expensive than 20k granted and even when you get your first place as an owner you realise you forgot day 1 shit like curtains or pans but tbh a car is a dead cost, house is more forward thinking.

having a plan is good and something to aim for. we all imagine it's on the fridge in crayon mind but a plan is a plan.

i'm not against cash on decent cars etc... but you don't need to spend 20k to have a motor that's a pleasure to drive. i also respect it's your choice and that car may have been your dream so all good but house first really. i'm guessing saxo with 12k of halfords shizzle on it but no need to correct me, it doesn't matter

no one gives a toss what you or others earn, you need to learn this, this counts double when you work for your dad. there will always be people who earn more or less, you don't know their circumstances, you don't know what they do with their money.

will blurr and dev have a bling off, answers after the break...

Also, owning a house is not the sole determinant of success.

Now, when's this bling-off happening?

Hahaha, you think a 17year old thinks of a house as priority when he just passed his test? Do I want to buy a car now do you think or buy a house? Again you have no idea.
