If he can do better than he did at Man U. and Real Sociedad that is....

Hope he's given the time to see his changes through. Could be a good come back to the premiership for him.

Mertesacker out for 5 months with a knee injury. Gabriel has fallen ill with tonsillitis. Looks like Rob Holding might be in the first team sooner than he thinks.

A small sign of hope from today though is our failed attempt to sign Lacazette from Lyon who publically announced our 29.4m bid was rejected. This is good news as it means Wenger had nearly 30m to spend on one player and there will now be pressure on him to ensure he does spend it and bring in someone who can start playing in the first team rather than groom into it over time.

Quite likely true in Messi's case, but let's face it; footballers have long been prone to some atrocious hair decisions;

and the Joker in the pack;

Should've looked where he was punching, Lovren has a hard head.

At least it was Klopp's Liverpool and not Villa this year.

I'm used to having a shit opening day of the season by now but fuck me are Liverpool fans insufferable... Even when Reece Oxford bossed our midfield last season it was less irritating.

You lot looking forward to playing in the Champions League this year? Oh wait, I meant Europa League? Oh wait you were too shit for even that. Pipe down.

27 passes thing is with liverpool, we cant defend and see games out. It lost us the season when suarez was here, and if we do like we did yesterday, it will cost us again. quality second half performance. Every one of liverpools goals were absolute class.

It was meant as a joke to wind Chef up as he's been shouting for Wenger's head for a while now, that's all. Anyway, if Arsenal don't go into the transfer market, I can see this being the first time in years that they don't qualify for the CL. I know it get said every year, and they still do, but it's got to happen sometime.

And you say about Liverpool fans are insufferable, watching Arsenal Fan TV after the match was comical.

Yes there are a lot of cretinous Arsenal fans as well. I was more referring to Liverpool fans who think they are the second coming of Pep's Barca because they have had 1 good result in competition and won a friendly against Barca, conveniently forgetting they got thrashed by Mainz in the next friendly. See also Spurs fans after their Inter Milan friendly.

I certainly don't think that. There was a poll on the LFC sub reddit on where we will finish this season, I put seventh.
