Rainbow Six 3 to be released on Playstation 2

On January 5th, Ubisoft announced that they are releasing Rainbow Six 3 for the playstation 2 console this year. Developed by Ubisoft's Shanghai studio, the game is set to offer an even more realistic and action packed experience than it's previous titles, with the added multiplayer option, new to console Rainbow 6 games.
The game follows in the same style as the last ones - you command a four man anti-terrorist team through a series of areas with objectives to be achieved, such as rescuing or protecting hostages. The game also features immediate, immersive close-quarters action, state-of-the-art in-game cinematics, graphics comparable to those of Splinter Cell and the Clancy games' trademark realism. It is also to have a voice-activated command system and comprehensive offline and online multiplayer capabilities, setting the game to look like one of the best titles the PS2 will have seen for a while.
