Dirt Rally 2

Looks like they could be prepping Dirt Rally 2 for a 2019 release.

Out 26th Feb 2019. Lots of comments to the effect of "Don't mess this up, Codemasters" after Dirt 4. Hope they can be bothered to add VR this time.

The original Dirt Rally (with support for PSVR) is the only VR game that makes me feel queasy!

Could be because it's not designed with VR in mind - that usually means it takes a framerate hit. I had to turn all the settings down with the Vive. Not sure if you can do that with a PS4, but give it a try if you can.

Pre-orders up already. "All pre-orders editions of DiRT Rally 2.0 will include access to the amazing Porsche 911 RGT Rally Spec as a bonus vehicle."

Looks like they're going to be going heavy on the DLC too.

The Deluxe Edition will also allow players to get their hands on the game four days early, launching on 22nd February 2019

Game will include a choice of tyre compounds and track deformation.

The physics of material displacement have been improved. If you start lower down the running order, you’ll see heavier rutting in the track surface, with material shifted off the racing line. This will cause cars to move to the limits of the banking as loose material builds, and can fundamentally alter the experience, even on a stage you thought you’d mastered. Driving at night, in the rain, on a rutted track should feel totally different to topping the order on the same track in clear conditions.

The Dirt Show - from the developers.

No VR support at launch. They will add it if there is enough demand.

Bespoke stages - not generated ones.

Over 50 cars at launch.
