Android Apps

Someone suggested a thread like this elsewhere and for somewhat selfish reasons I thought I'd get the ball rolling.

I'm after a widget that can turn gps/wifi/bluetooth/data connection on and off all from a 1x1 space. (will consider 2x1 and if I have to 3x1)
I have them all up individually at the moment but it takes up too much space on my home screen.

Any ideas?

In exchange for information I'll provide 3G Watchdog which is a free app, great for monitoring your mobile Internet data usage.

Cheers

acar - records all your car expenses and displays charts/stats etc
Bonsai Blast - Cool tower defence? type game
CardioTrainer - GPS Sports Trainer
Gensoid Lite - Play all those old classic Megadrive games, spent 2 hrs at work the other day playing Risk on it
My Collection (in association with barcode scanner) - scans books/dvds library
Real Blackjack - Blackjack game ... obviously
Shazam - amazing app that recognises what music is playing in background/radio/tv etc
Wheres My Droid - Enables you to text your phone and get it to make lots of noise even if on silent, just incase you lose it

All free, not quite willing just yet to actually pay for anything, though if Air Control gave you more maps that is a pretty cool game

Double Twist. Not an App but think Itunes for Android. Supports drag and drop video conversion too.

Shop savvy - scan a barcode in a shop and the app will tell you if the item is cheaper online or at a location nearby.
Google skymap - identify the stars.

I'm using something called Battery Widget. Shows how much charge your battery has, but when you click on it you get options for display, wifi, gps and bluetooth.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Locale yet. Lets you have phone settings changed depending on time, location, battery level, etc. For example I've set it to enable my wifi when I'm near my house and change to silent mode at night. Sadly the beta ended a few weeks ago, so you now have to pay for it.

Had this for a bit however you can only turn wifi on or off at the touch of a button.
The others are just shortcuts to menus

Just started using Skyfire browser. It lets you play loads of Flash video other browsers wont play.
Have watched the new series of Family Guy and Mythbusters, and it works great. It is only a beta at the mo, so there is some things that wont play. More info here.

I'm surprised tvcatchup haven't done something for android - the iphone version of the site streams quicktime files and is brilliant.

Just thought I would post this before it gets taken down. There is an app on the Market Place now called Youtube Ripper. Download it, go to your Youtube app, and when you click the share button there is a new option at the bottom with Rip It. Dont think it will last long, so be quick!

Couple of task manager/to do lists

Astrid Tasks - seems pretty good
Easy Note - not quite as well integrated as Astrid, but okay basic one

Re; App Killer

Is this a tool that shuts apps down when you have finished using them because theres no way of closing an app down within the app? ie only the buttons to go to the menu or back, nothing to say you don't want the app running anymore? I ask because i've just got the HTC Wildfire (also known as Buzz) and can't see any way of actually closing an app down from within the app.
