I rememebr us all in IRC waiting for the GTA4 trailer to come out and then we had the wrong link and it was the reveal for LA Noire

I disagree... GTA's all about the amusing single player experience for me, don't care about multiplayer much..

I love GTA for the first 50 or so missions, then realise ive done the same type of missions over and over again. I remember multiplayer once with a friend and you could have a change and have a good laugh with helicopters etc. looking forward to it still tho

Cannot be fucked! they'll have some lame ass foreigner for the main character whos voice will prompt me to smash the power button till it goes off. The missions will all be the bloody same and the net code will be a joke. If you buy it on a console, there will be pop ups which will drive me mad. Thought they'd stopped that shit with the ps2. Totally gone off these games. I had more fun with saints row 2 and i didn't even rate that a good game.

They haven't released any details afaik.

There's a few rumours about though; some saying it could be Vice City, or a city in Europe.

Apart from GTA: London, haven't they always set it in fictional cities that are based on real cities?

It's clearly SoCal as a whole. "Muscle sands" instead of muscle beach, and vinyards full of mexicans etc. They look like they're going for the whole state. LA was the city part. The flyover was in there etc. Mountains, slums, the lot.

Someone at work was trying to convince me that it was set in actual Los Angeles, ie,, not San Andreas.

I guess the Vinewood sign proves that is bs. Maybe it's just modelled on 'actual LA'?
