He didnt say Daniel Craig is the best Bond, he said he was the best actor to play Bond. Big difference.

they're all good...even moore. I didn't like him (as bond) but he still did some great bond movies...some of my favourites.
however, let's be honest,....the actor playing Bond doesn't need to act so much as be smug and saunter. Brosnen played a bond which was like that but actually showed some subtleties of mischief or pressure. Craig gets to play a less pro-bond and one more prone to emotion...so has to act it's like Batman....in the latest one Bale actually is allowed to ACT! OMG! instead of just swagger and growl Caine and Bale in a proper acting scene!? I nearly walked out thinking I was in the wrong movie!

I think Craig is the best bond. Fits the role far better than any of his predecessors'
Connery a close 2nd, Moore 3rd. The other just seem to blend into a forgetful mess. |

In terms of the new movies? Yeah Daniel Craig is the best Bond. The other "Bonds" just wouldnt have fit into the film properly. That being said, Ive always been a fan of Roger Moore as Bond.

I actually liked Dalton's bond....it was much closer to where the modern bond portrayed by Craig is now.
grittier...more like a governments gun for hire....anything for the country the opening scene was good for me in one dalton movie, when he's prepped and goes from theatre goer to sniper assassin in 5 secs and has to shoot a girl who he surmises is a patsy. but I think the world wasn't ready for a grittier bond and they tried to make him a bit too smug with it to emulate moore's 80's bond.

I love the bond films altogether. The fact that the part has been played by different actors isn't an issue for me. I can't say one was better than the other, but the way Moore played his bond was really up my street. Loved the humour side of the franchise.

I'm a Dalton fan, not a bad watch his films. Has anyone else noticed though, with the massive billboard ad posters Sky have for the new bond channel, Dalton doesn't look like Dalton to me!

I don't think my TV was off the 007 channel for 4 days over last weekend, my daughter loves it which is an unexpected surprise! The wife wasn't too happy though
 A friend met Roger Moore recently at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, absolutely top bloke apparently.

I think Craig is the best bond tbh, don't know if its because I'm a 'yoof' or something, but I like that fact hes portrayed as more of a thuggish type in the newer bonds than a womanizer type swarve cunt in the older bonds! Not that theres anything wrong with any of the bond films I enjoy them all in their own little way!
