Just watching it now. Holy hell at around 20 mins in and "Shot Baker" being set off! Roland Emmerich and all the CGI in the world couldn't match that.

The best bit is that due to the way nuclear bombs work - they are effectively limited by our desire, and nothing else - once you start the reaction, that reaction can set off the next and so on (the Tsar one was made of up of 3 individual bombs).

But all this shit gets really scary when you consider this:

If this stuff ever does get used, we are, royaly and truly fucked.

I think our "compassion and respect" for human life is a fucking world away from clicking a mouse button.
