The Muhammad film - Shocking

This is the film that people have been killed over. I have to say, even I find it completely offensive and I'm not a muslim.

People who had nothing to do with it, obviously, didn't deserve to die but I have to say, I wouldn't bat an eyelid if they killed the guy who made it.

They refer to Muhammad as "Muhammad the bastard", they call him a child molester, a robber, the whole thing is basically made to be as offensive as possible. They say the Qu'Ran was made by taking the Torah and adding "false verses".

They even dubbed over an older actress and cut away as she actually says his name so it's obvious that was added in later. They portray the Jews as normal people and all the Muslims as bearded thugs.

The whole production is ridiculously bad and the acting is worse than crossroads was.

The guy who made it, being a sad coward of course, has disappeared and no-one knows for sure who he actually is, it says Sam Bacile but I've seen news stories saying they think that's a fake name.

I'd have to say he better hope no-one finds him cos if you thought Salman Rushdie was in danger this guy is a dead man walking.

By the same token, true believers in Islam should not be killing folk. The few clips I've heard from Muslims deplore the vid, but also say that killing is against what they believe.

but by contrast theres been plenty of simialr style films ripping christianity apart and to my understanding theres been no backlash of that scale.

I think alot of the problem is Islam has alot of fundamentalists who have not really been able to move the religion into the 21st century

It's still a relatively young religion though, 600-odd years younger than christianity, and christians, let's face it, have a superb track record for intolerance, violence, persecution, mindless slaughter, and general daftness.

It's only in recent decades that they've calmed down much, and you can still get plunged for being the wrong type of christian in the wrong area of Ulster, or parts of the west of Scotland.

Maybe in another few centuries, everyone will finally realise what a pile of shite it all is, and pack in the nonsense.

Christianity and Judaism have been constant sources of jokes/satire over the years and haven't declared jihads (or whatever the Catholic/Jew equivalent is) - why should Islam be any different?

The vast majority of Muslim people are very peaceful and it is the minority, as it is with all other religions, that give the majority a bad name.

Problem with Islam is its "big lie" - which by definition dictates that all followers must lie to non muslims if it aids them in their "quest" to further the uptake of Islam around the world, prevents them from landing themselves in trouble or helps them in missleading the "enemy" (which is anyone who doesn't follow Islam).

So knowing that they are all a bunch of liars - how the fuckity fuck do they expect anyone to take them seriously? as they will never tell the truth, or you will never know if they are or not. This "lying" clearly evident in the multiple (and rather boring now lets be honest) claims that Islam is a "non violent religion" - er.. yeah, history and right into todays news has a slightly different view on that statement.

Views and opinions are everywhere throughout the web and in the wild about all things, yet only the mindless few go around killing because they disagree. Perhaps in their oppressive world it is deemed acceptable? Can you even say it's the minority? I claime conspiracy - this film was made for a reason - perhaps the US has decided that it's had enough dealing with these fuckers and so wants out - and as a parting shot, wants to piss them off at the same time. Wonder when they'll start closing the embassies...

I couldnt make it past two minutes, it's awful. And I'm talking more about the production values, lack of coherence and obviously just being shite.

There is absolutely no justification for harming or killing someone on the basis of a film , cartoon or any of the other insane thing's which has been done in Islam's name in the past few years. Given the massive contradiction , that someone who professes to be a Muslim goes against it's core values by committing such acts show's how insane and deluded people are regarding religion.

The Pakistan case of the Downs Syndrome girl is another example.

Frankly I think quite often this outrage is simply an excuse to indulge in barbaric behaviour. By the logic of these fucking idiots , next time some muslim burns a flag or insults our country / god / whatever , we should start kicking off and burning the closest shawarma king or something.
