How much is the server? Albeit that I don't play much, I may come on the server to play with my trickery buddies and therefore be willing to put a couple of quid towards it, but it would kinda help if we knew how much it would cost and how much was in the coffers already...

Wooly, I am tempted to ask for a refund from Vilayer.

It's been 24 hours since I paid the renewal and the server is still down and we cannot log into the control panel. If the refund is made I will transfer the cash back to you and let you purchase a new one from the provider you want.

No-one in the same price range unfortunately.

We were toying with the idea of hosting one on a dedibox so we would have our own hive to control but shelved that idea a while back.

Maybe when the standalone comes out we might re-visit the idea.

Don't bother donating (just issued you a refund). I don't play DayZ any more so don't really have time to sort the server out/configure and maintain a new one. Word of warning, whoever picks this up will end up spending a good portion of their time trying to decipher the 6 or 7 log files that contain useful info.

Well after 57 hours of no response about the server being down after I had paid them they are now forwarding to their billing department.

Chef, did you get a refund from them for something? Did you wait for them to do it or did you force it through Paypal?

sorry guys not been on this week much, not had chance. Glad server is back for a month at least, Homer have you transferred the ban list etc so we don't get raided by the same hackers at least?

Servers been reset and set to veteran. Not got the banlist from the other server as Vilayer trashed it and I couldn't log in to save it. Couldn't log into the server either so couldn't warn.

Going back offline now, I might be back tomorrow but I won't be around much for most of the week.
